Centre to BMTC: Issue e-bus supply order by February 28 or lose subsidyedit

The Centre on Wednesday issued an ultimatum to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) to issue supply order to the bidder to induct electric buses in the city by February 28, failing which it will miss out on the Rs 74.8-crore subsidy sanctioned for the initiative.
