Piaggio Vehicles, the Indian arm of the Italian automaker, makes its entry into the electric vehicle segment on Wednesday with the launch of electric three-wheeler Ape’ E-City priced at Rs 1.97 lakh. Ape’ E-City is the first product under company Ape’ Electrik range which will have full range of electric vehicles across various categories, Piaggio said in a release.

The company said it will launch its full range of electric vehicles under the Ape Electrik brand in coming times.
