New tractors don’t show up in droves every year at fall farm shows. However, for 2023, the stars aligned, and new tractors appeared from every direction. Some are new model-year upgrades, others are additions to an existing series, and still others are brand new with never-seen-before technology.

Here are examples of what you can find browsing through the slideshow of new tractors and accessories:

Upgraded for new model year. Claas added room and creature comforts to the cab of its Xerion tractors. Engineers made other improvements to ensure that these are sleek operating machines. The Xerion 12.590 and Xerion 12.650 also are the largest pair of tractors that Claas has offered.

More than 650 incidents of stubble burning have been reported in Punjab so far, according to data from the Ludhiana-based Punjab Remote Sensing Centre.According to the data, Punjab recorded 656 active fire incidents from September 15 to October 4.On Wednesday, the state witnessed 95 stubble burning incidents, the data showed. On the same day in 2021 and 2022, the state had recorded 23 and 65 farm fires, respectively.Of the 95 stubble burning cases, Amritsar district contributed the most with 48, followed by 19 in Tarn Taran, eight in Patiala and seven in Kapurthala. Amritsar and Tarn Taran are accounting for the maximum straw burning incidents as harvesting has already begun in these districts.
