Electric vehicle owners can soon charge their vehicles at their homes. Power Ministry on Friday released ‘Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles-Guidelines and Standards-reg’ circular. As per the circular, private charging at residences and offices is now permitted and DISCOMs can facilitate the same.

City Centre Muscat has become the first shopping mall in Oman to offer its shoppers the opportunity to charge their electric vehicles. The e-charging stations, which are free to customers, are at the parking facility on Level 1.
