CES 2020: AMD announces Ryzen 4000, new Navi GPUedit

At its 2020 CES keynote, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced a slew of products in their Ryzen processor and RDNA GPU products. AMD president and CEO Lisa Su said that the company aimed to bringing more performance and capabilities for gamers and creators. 7m enters laptops : Su announced a new family of Zen 2-powered APUs for laptops, promising 20 per cent lower power consumption, better performance and better battery life. The Ryzen 4000 mobile processors, codenamed Renoir, fits 8 Zen 2 cores with 16 threads.

He had tweeted that Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) was trading at triple its dot-com mania peak valuation with revenue growth today at roughly half of what it was then. The current price-earnings ratio of the stock is 228 times. AMD’s price-sales ratio is 9.0 times. Another tweet drew my attention to the fact that after its recent run of +94% appreciation over the last three months, Tesla Motors’ market capitalization is 50% larger than that of either BMW or Daimler.

Asus and its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand on Monday at CES 2020 announced two new gaming monitors, the ROG Swift 360Hz and ROG Swift PG32UQX. The first is a 24.5-inch Nvidia G-Sync supporting e-sports display with a jaw-dropping 360Hz refresh rate, while the latter is a 32-inch Nvidia G-Sync gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate. The ROG Swift 360Hz and ROG Swift PG32UQX displays will be available later this year, with pricing to be announced closer to availability.

Apple set to make a comeback at Consumer Electronics Show after 28 yearsedit
