The Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT is no doubt one of the only RX 5600 XT cards you should get since it features better build quality and can handle higher memory clocks. The fact that the RX 5600 XT only equals a 1.5 year old RTX 2060 doesn’t help much. This card is a great performer in the mid-range segment but AMD really needs to work on its regional pricing for the RX 5600 XT to have a similar impact as it does in western markets.

AMD announced the Zen 2-based Ryzen 4000 APU series at CES 2020 and earned quite a praise for the purported performance improvements, especially against the Intel Ice Lake Core i7-1065G7. Earlier this week, a Geekbench listing surfaced online showing the Ryzen 7 4700U posting some impressive scores. According to the Geekbench listing, the Ryzen 7 4700U was shown to score 4,910 in single-core and 21,693 in multi-core.

AMD Quietly Patched Four Major GPU Security Vulnerabilities with Radeon 20.1.1 Driversedit

If you haven’t updated your AMD Radeon drivers in a while, here’s one major reason to. The company secretly patched four major security vulnerabilities affecting Radeon GPUs, in its recent Adrenalin 20.1.1 drivers, with no mention of doing so in its changelog. Talos Intelligence reports four vulnerabilities, which are are chronicled under CVE-2019-5124, CVE-2019-5146, CVE-2019-5147 and CVE-2019-5183. This class of attacks exploits a vulnerability in the AMD Radeon driver file ATIDXX64.dll, which can lead to denial of service or even remote code execution.

Intel on Thursday cemented the market view that the chip industry is turning around after a prolonged slowdown, forecasting better 2020 revenue and profit than Wall Street anticipated, driven by cloud computing demand. “AMD (stock) is up because Intel saw flattish PC demand even as PC units were up, which implies AMD likely saw strong PC demand,” Cascend Securities analyst Eric Ross told Reuters.
