At the recently held 10th anniversary celebrations of EEMAGINE, the annual convention for event industry by Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), a panel discussion on ‘Transforming Public Opinion’ witnessed participation of communication stalwarts like Sanjay Nigam, COO Perfect Relations, Roma Balwani, President Group Communications, CSR & Sustainability, Vedanta Group and Sonia Huria, Senior VP and Head – Communications & CSR, Viacom 18. The session was moderated by Yamini Singh, Executive Editor, Everything Experiential.

The panelists highlighted the role that ‘public relation’ plays in building and sustaining brand image. Stating that communication is a practice that involves both art and science, Sonia Huria of Viacom 18 said, “Communication is actually a marriage between art and science.” ...
